Goffstown High School Hall of Fame will honor the recently inducted 1980 State Champion Field Hockey Team during their Saturday, September 26^th field hockey game vs. Lebanon HS.

The Varsity Field Hockey team finished their 1980 season with an impressive record of 12-2.   The team won the Class AA State Championship game with a 1-0 victory over Exeter High School under the lights at Memorial Field in Concord.  The reason this team is worthy of such recognition is not just because they were crowned State Champions, but they were also a wonderfully talented group of female athletes led by a strong senior class.  The 1980 team attained the first female team state championship in school history, from that moment on, there has been no turning back and female athletes at Goffstown High School have continued to build a tradition of excellence.

Athletic Director, Steve Fountain is asking that 1980 team members, family and friends please email blambert@goffstown.k12.nh.us to RSVP for this celebration.

Reminder that the bus will leave tomorrow at 11:30am from the high school for our team day (returning around 2:30pm).  Make sure to wear sneakers, comfortable clothes, and bring $10-15!  Looking forward to all of you 'tagging' along with the coaches...

The first day of fall athletics is right around the corner, Monday, August 17th.  If you haven't registered for your fall sport at this point, the registration is set to close late Sunday, August 16th.  Please get your registration completed asap or risk missing precious preseason tryouts/practices.  Register Now!

Once again this season we will offer online athletic team registration.  Currently we are waiting on the registration site to open for our fall registration.  Please check back Monday, August 3rd for more information.  Registration only takes minutes and needs to be completed before tryouts/first practice.  As a reminder, all freshman and first time GHS athletes, must have an updated physical (within a year or start date) on file with the GHS school nurse in order to be eligible to participate.  We appreciate you patience and apologies for any inconvenience.
