Hello,

We will be having a banquet for the JV and Freshman boys' basketball teams on Thursday 4/20 at 7 pm in the library. We will not be doing dinner, just dessert. We are asking all families to contribute by bringing drinks, paper plates, napkins, cups, plastic silverware, or a dessert to share. Please update if your son will be coming, how many family members will be coming, and what you would like to bring.

Please have your son see Mr Fountain to complete the coach evaluation. This should take about 15 minutes. He will set up the library computers to complete the assessment. Meet at the end of the school day.

Also, I need to collect uniforms. If your son has not turned his uniform in, please bring it in on Wednesday.

This includes the practice shirt.

Great Job to the boys and parents this past weekend. It was quite the ride and you should all be very proud of what your sons accomplished. I had so many spectators approach me about this team and how they battle.  No surprise to me but they did shock the D 1 schools.

Enjoy the rest of the vacation week. I will send out an update next week to collect uniforms and meet with the boys to reflect on the season. 

Just a reminder, tonight is Senior Night for the Boys Varsity. If you are around please support your school.

We will play Exeter at 1:30. Arrive at 12:45.

Here is the schedule for the weekend.

We play Saturday at 2:15  against Londonderry.

If we win,we would play Sunday at 1:30. 

If we win, we would play later Sunday at 5:30.

If we win, we play Monday at 5:00. 

This is a single elimination tournament. Any loss and we are done. 

The boys should be at Bishop Guertin High School 45 minutes before game time. We have a five minute warm up before each game.

Please let me know if if anyone needs a ride to the games. We do not have any buses for the weekend.

Excellent job today.  That was a solid game from start to finish. We finished the regular season at 10-4. 

This week we will practice Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 3:00-4:30 PM.

Thursday, practice 4:30-6:00 pm. 

This Saturday 2/25, we will play at Bishop Guertin. The schedule has not been posted. We will not have a bus to take the team. If anyone needs a ride, please let me know. Once the seeding is posted, I will forward the schedule to all of you.

Monday 1/30 practice 3-4:30

Tuesday 1/31, practice  3-4:15

Wednesday 2/1 practice 3-5:15. I will end practice early to watch film from 4:30 to 5:15. 

Thursday 2/2, Game in Exeter, bus leaves at 3:00 pm, be in the gym lobby at 2:45. Game is scheduled for 6:00 pm. Girls are scheduled for 4:45 game time. We may stop to eat. 

Friday 2/3 3:30 Game at GHS against Spaulding. JV and Varsity play after our game starting at 5:00 pm. They will play John Stark.

Hi Team, 

I am sorry for the late email. I was informed at 2:40 pm today that our practice with rescheduled until later this evening 6-7:30. I decided to cancel the practice instead having players and parents running back and forth to the school for a late practice.  I had the several players notify the team because I could not access the school web site. 

We are off tomorrow. Enjoy a free Friday and long weekend. 

Tuesday 1/17 is picture day for the boys. Please have them bring uniforms to school for pictures at 1:30. Please look on the website for the picture information if you would like to order pictures. 

We will practice 3:00-4:30 Tuesday and Wednesday. I will need to check the times for  Thursday and Friday.

12/20, Game at Nashua South. We play the 2nd game after the girls, approximately 5 pm. Bus leaves the school at 2:30.

12/21, Game home against Alvirne, This was originally scheduled for 12/22.

12/22 &12/23, practice 4:30-6:00p. JV and Varsity play home against Hollis-Brookline on Friday, 12/23.

Fundraiser, all money and tickets are due by Monday, 12/26/16. Money can be turned in any time before the 26th. 

Next week we are scheduled for practice on 12/28 and 12/29 from 11-12:30. I will update with any changes.

Great game today. Each game I see improvement with the team.

We will have practice on 12/22/16 from 4:30-6:00 pm.  No practice on 12/23/16. (Friday)

The boys received a schedule package for practices and games today. They also received the fundraiser Subway coupon books and information. They are 10 dollars each. Each player was given 25 coupon books to sell. This will cover the boys' warm up shirts and pullover shirt. 

Next week practice M,T,Th,F 4:30-6 p. No practice on Wednesday.

On Thursday 12/8, all first time GHS athletes and their parents are expected to attend a meeting in the theater at 6:00 pm.

This is to inform players/parents of school policies and expectations for the upcoming season.

Practice has been canceled for today. No after school activities. Varsity and JV games were canceled too.

Friday the 10th, we will practice at 4:30-6:00 PM.

Monday, 13th, Game home against Concord. Game time is 5:15. Please be dressed and ready by 4:30. The girls freshman play at 3:30. 

Tuesday, 14th practice 3:00 to 4:30.

Wednesday, 15th practice 4:30-6:00 ,

Thursday, 16th Game at home against Hollis-Brookline at 3:30.

I spoke to the team and several parents yesterday after the game. The school has registered the boys in a post season jamboree. This is a single elimination format. We will play on 2/25/17. If we would advance, our next game would be 2/26 or 2/27. I know of several players that will be away for vacation. Please let me know if your son will be available to play.  I will update when I have more information.
