GENERAL EXPECTATIONS DURING THE LACROSSE SEASON:
-Attendance at ALL practices and games unless there is an excused absence; Accountability ON and OFF the field; Positive motivation and support for your teammates; Hard work and effort (not just on game days!); Commitment to increasing your lacrosse IQ and having a working knowledge of the rules; Sportsmanship (even in the face of adversity); Leadership from all returning players.
-NO Jewelry will be allowed to be worn during any practice or game. This includes cartilage, septum, and helix piercings. This is entirely a safety issue that is well within the control of each player. It is expected that players exercise the self-discipline necessary to follow this rule and take it seriously.
-Lacrosse is a RUNNING sport. We will incorporate running into every practice (and many days we conduct a longer distance run of at least 30 minutes). Players need to have the appropriate footwear to support the amount of running that will be taking place so as to help them avoid unnecessary injuries.
GOFFSTOWN GRIZZLIES LACROSSE CLUB (BOOSTER CLUB)
There is a MANDATORY Registration Night/Info Night on Tuesday, March 31st 6pm. Players and at least one parent/guardian must attend. Uniforms will be provided at Registration Night to all players who are properly registered. Please also check out the Goffstown Grizzlies Lacrosse Club Facebook page as a good source for Booster Club information throughout the season.
