On Thursday, November 13th and 14th both Sam Shearin and Nicole Nanof signed their letters of intent to play lacrosse and softball respectively, at their schools of choice next fall.
Sam Shearin '15 with parents Mike and Patty and brother Brendon looking on, signed his letter of intent to play lacrosse and attend Lehigh University, a premier private residential research university located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Lehigh athletic teams compete at the division 1 level in the Patriot league. The lacrosse team was ranked as high as 14th in the country one year ago.
In his time at Goffstown High School Sam has been a three sport athlete (Football, Winter Track and Lacrosse), an NHIAA Sportsmanship Certificate winner, and multiple time all state lacrosse player. He is the first Goffstown lacrosse player to sign a letter of intent to attend a Division 1 top tier lacrosse program.
His extra curricular achievements include being a member of Goffstown Outstanding Athletic Leadership, HOBY Leadership Candidate, member of National Honor Society, member of the 1100 pound lifting club.

Nicole Nanof '15 with parents John and Laura and sister Kristen looking on, signed her letter of intent to play softball and attend Merrimack College, a selective independent college located in North Andover Massachusetts. Merrimack athletic teams compete at the division 2 level in the NE-10 conference. The softball team ranked 3rd in their division a year ago.
In her time at Goffstown High School Nicole has been a standout three sport athlete, (Soccer, Swimming, Softball) garnering all-state honors in both softball and soccer, as well as the division 2 softball player of the year award last spring. Additionally Nicole with be representing the America's Softball Association Team in Italy this summer.
Currently standing at 17th in her senior class some of Nicole's extra curricular achievements include being a member of the National Honor Society, The Goffstown Outstanding Athletic Leadership group, and she has also volunteered with Mooremart, an organization that produces and sends off care packages to our service men and women and their families.
