First period, Colin Holt made a great save by covering the puck with his whole body while Windham tried to poke the puck from under him at 10:45. At 8:06, Connor Easton received a slashing penalty. During the penalty kill, Holt took one shot but at 7:39, Windham’s John Monahan scored unassisted. At 6:27, Oliver Gunski received a roughing penalty. There were no shots on Holt during the penalty kill. At 3:22, Windham’s Patrick Higgins received a roughing penalty and shortly afterwards, Nick Nault received a tripping penalty at 2:43. At 2:39, Holt made a great save after a pile up at the net. At 2:19, Gunski received a holding penalty. At 6.4 seconds left of the first period, Sam Greenwood almost scored after a great shot. Holt took a total of 12 shots.
Second period, after the puck was dropped, Windham’s Teddy Piandes received a slashing penalty at 14:23. During the power play, Gunski made a strong shot at 13:41. At 12:20, Windham’s Vinny Forgione received a hooking penalty. At 10:50, Nault received a slashing penalty. Windham’s Patrick Higgins received a tripping penalty at 10:13. There was a lot of contact at the Goffstown’s net until the net came off at 4:05. At 1:48, Sam Greenwood, Ian Gately, and Noah Charron had a lot of chances to score at the Windham’s net. At 40.0 seconds left of the second period, Tyler Riendeau had a breakaway and almost scored, but Windham’s goalie, Max Daly made the stop. At the last second, Connor Easton made a great shot but hit the post. Holt had a total of 18 shots at the end of the second period.
Third period, Charron made a great pass to Gately and missed the net at 10:29. At 8:10, Windham’s Chad Deshutels scored at 7:06 from Nolan Cunningham and Timmy Anderson. At 6:00, Nault received a tripping penalty. Holt made a couple of great saves during the penalty kill, one was caught between the legs. At 3:15, Windham’s Mike Tardif received a holding penalty. Goffstown took the opportunity to call a time out. Shortly after the puck was dropped, Holt was pulled at 2:20. At 1:05, a matching penalty was called on Windham’s Vinny Forgione for unsportsmanlike and Charron for cross-checking. Windham’s Vinny Forgione also received a misconduct penalty. At 55.9, Windham’s John Monahan scored on the empty net. Holt had a total of 25 shots in the game.
