First period, Connor Easton made a great pass to Noah Charron and scored on Bow’s goalie, Rob Morgeson at 10:39.  Bow responded with Josh Connor scored with a breakaway after a pass from Brendan Ulrich at 8:32.  At 5:52, Sam Greenwood almost scored after a pass from Tyler Riendeau.  The only penalty called was on Nick Nault for cross-checking at 5:06.  Bow’s Doug Champagne almost scored on Colin Holt at 4:17, but Holt made a great save during the penalty kill.  Holt had a total of 7 shots in the first period.

Second period, Greenwood shot a high one at Bow’s net but Rob Morgeson caught the puck at 13:37.  Bow’s Doug Champagne had a breakaway and almost scored until Holt made a good save with his right pad.  Second period was scoreless and Holt had a total of 13 shots at the end of the period.

At 59 seconds into the third period, Ian Gately scored when he top shelf at the Bow’s goalie’s with the assists from Connor Easton and Dylan Hyers.  Holt made another great save at 12:18 after a breakaway from Bow’s Steve Panella.  At 8:20, Oliver Gunski made a strong shot at goal from the blue line.  At 4:08, Bow’s Doug Champagne almost scored but hit the Goffstown’s post.  Gunski shot another rocket at 3:26 from the blue line. At 1:22, Bow’s coach called a time out.  Bow pulled their goalie, before the puck was dropped, Goffstown called a time out.  At 1:13, Gately shot at the empty net from Bow’s blue line and hit the goal post.  The whistle blew at 1 minute left of the game for offside.  Last few seconds left of the game, Bow shot and Holt made a save that ended the game with a win.  Holt had a total 21 shots.

Goffstown wins 2 to 1!

Coach Roy’s comment of the game, “Best players of the game tonight are Colin Holt and Tyler Riendeau.”

Next game is Wednesday, February 4th against Hollis Brookline High School at the Cyclones Arena in Hudson, NH at 8:30pm.
