First period, Connor Easton made a good pass to Ian Gately, and Gately with a breakaway almost scored at 12:04.  Colin Holt made a great save as he reached out to get the puck away from the net at 9:16.  Ben Roy had a breakaway and had a good shot at the Kingswood goalie, Tom Dougherty at 8:21.  Max Lajeunesse had a good chance to score at 7:09.  At 4:12, Holt made a great catch after a slap shot from Kingswood.  At 2:41, Gately received a penalty for tripping.  Tanner Beck kept the puck in the Kingswood zone during the penalty kill.  Holt had a total of 4 shots in the first period.

Second period, Easton almost scored, it was so close after so many attempts at the Kingswood net at 12:24.  At 5:38, Kingswood’s Owen Richard received a tripping penalty.  With 1 minute and 27 seconds left in the second period, the first score on the board was made by Kingswood’s Owen Gonya from Matt Harrington and Brodie Deschaies.  Holt had a total of 9 shots in the end of second period.

Third period, Gately scored from Michael Fortin and Nick Nault at 14:09.  At 8:56, Kingswood called a time out.  After the time out, Kingswood’s Pete Marshall scored at 8:44 from Luke French after a breakaway.  At 5:13, Gately scored from Tyler Riendeau.  At 3:30, Kingswood Owen Richard received a cross-checking penalty.  At the same time, Grizzlies called a time out.  After the last 3 minutes of the period, the game is tied and will go into overtime.  Holt had a total of 15 total shots in the game.

Over time, Grizzlies stayed strong until Kingswood’s Owen Richard scored the winning goal from Andy Contrada at 3:46.  Colin had 4 shots in over time.

Coach Roy’s comment of the game, “Oliver Gunski had a great game, he did a really great job today.”
