First period, Mason Mable had the first shot of the game at Oyster River’s net from a pass from Tyler Riendeau at 14:19. Ian Gately had a great shot at net at 10:12. The first penalty of the game came from Dylan Hyers for holding at 7:58. The last six seconds of the penalty, Oyster River’s Michael Donovan scored by batting the puck in at 6:03 with Connor McDonough and Devin Kaya assisted. Oyster River’s Porter McManus received their first penalty for hooking at 5:04. At 4:36, Connor Easton made a great shot at goal during the power play. At 3:13, Tanner Beck made a great shot at goal and almost scored. Chace Dearborn received a penalty for tripping at 1:36. Mable received a 5 minute major for charging at the last 12.1 seconds of the period. At the end of the first period, Colin Holt had 4 shots on goal.
Second period, the first shot on goal was made by Oyster River and Holt made a great save at 13:00. At 12:12, Sam Greenwood tried to sneak the puck in the corner of Oyster River’s net but the goalie covered the puck. At 11:54, Holt made another save and again at 11:01 when Oyster River tried to get the puck in the corner of Grizzlie’s net. Another save was made by Holt at 6:37. Mable made a pass to Riendeau, and Riendeau scored at 2:02. At 11.8 seconds left of the game, Nick Nault scored from the blue line with Mable getting the assist. At the end of the second period, Holt had a total 10 shots on goal.
Third period, the first shot on goal was saved by Holt at 13:16. Beck made the first shot on Oyster River at 13:00. Oyster River’s Anson Thibault received a holding penalty at 12:37. At 3:27, Hyers made a great shot from the blue line. At 2:06, Oyster River called a time-out. Oyster River made a shot at 2:01 and hit the post, but tied the game at 1:36 with Oyster River’s Conor Deptula scored and Zak Lanove and Casey Aubin with the assists. At 45.7 seconds left of the period, Goffstown called a time-out. At the end of third period, Holt made a total of 14 shots on goal.
Overtime, Gately shot and hit the cross-bar at 6:35. Holt made a great save at 4:16. At 2:41, Dearborn and Oyster River’s Zak Lanove received a matching penalty for roughing. At 43.9, Nault received an interference penalty. Holt had a total of 20 shots on goal.
The game ended with a 2-2 tie.
