First period, at 13:53 Ian Gately had the first shot at Pembroke’s net.  Dylan Hyers had a great shot at net hitting the crossbar at 13:30.  At 12:55 Tyler Riendeau received a 5:00 minute major penalty for hit from behind.  Gately scored at 12:04 unassisted while they were shorthanded.    At 11:17, Pembroke had their first shot at Colin Holt.  Hyers cleared the puck and Tanner Beck carried the puck to kill the penalty.  Gately scored his second goal of the game at 8:07 unassisted and shorthanded.   Pembroke’s Alex Mailhot received a tripping penalty at 6:40.  At 5:15, Connor Easton scored with an assist from Gately during a power play.  At 1:24, Chace Dearborn stopped a break away.  As the buzzer rang, Easton received a penalty for roughing.  Holt took a total of one shot for the first period.

Second period, at 12:47, Pembroke’s Matt Tremblay received a penalty for interference.  At 7:29, Gately scored his third goal making it his second hat trick in two games, Connor Easton and Michael Fortin with the assist.  Kainen Lassonde made a nice pass at 7:04 to Max Lajeunesse had a good shot at the net.  The puck is still loose and with no whistle, Fortin scored at 6:50.  Shortly afterwards, Oliver Gunski received a penalty for tripping at 6:30.  At the Grizzlies net, players at both sides battle for the puck and Pembroke’s Matt Tremblay scored with Dylan Fisher with an assist.  Easton scored his second goal at 3:32 with Gately with an assist.  At 1:57, Pembroke’s Sean Moore received a penalty for cross checking.  At the end of 2 periods, Holt took a total of 3 shots on net.

Third period, Mason Mable took the first shot at net at 14:12.  Bryce Milianes scored at 12:02 with Lajeunesse with an assist. Gunski received a penalty for interference at 5:59.  Holt made a great catch at 5:31.  At 4:07, Beck gave a great pass to Noah Charron and almost scored.   Holt took a total of 7 shots for the game.  The final score was 7 to 1. 

Coach Roy’s comment of the game:  “This was Michael Fortin's and Bryce Miliane's first Varsity goal.  Ian Gately had his back-to-back hat trick.”

The next game is Monday, December 22nd at Sullivan Arena at St. Anselm College.  The game is at 7:30pm against Somersworth High School.
