The Goffstown HS Golf Team had a successful regular season winning 11 times with 14 losses. This qualified them for the Team Championship at Sky Meadow CC in Nashua. There was a slight problem though, a Thursday Northeaster rain storm moved in and the event was cancelled. Per NHIAA By-Laws there was no make-up date so the standings stood as posted after the last match. This left the Grizzlies in 7th place for the season. They were hoping to move up in the standings at the tournament, but mother nature took care of that. A fun season was had by all and Coach Hamel considers it a successful season.
Two players will be playing in the Division 2 Individual Championhip this Sunday at Beaver Meadow CC in Concord. Nate Stevens and Rouen Pellitier will tee off at 9:42 and 9:33 respectively. Good luck to the both of them.
