The Goffstown Varsity Golf team traveled to Windham CC on Thursday to face Windham HS and Hollis Brookline HS. The day was perfect up until tee off as the rain drops started to fall as they prepared to tee off. By the time the last players finished it was a steady hard cold rain, but the players toughed it out and finished. Windham scored 107 points to take away 2 victories, while Hollis Brookline scored 100 to Goffstowns 82.
Nate Stevens led the way for Goffstown with 19 points, followed by Andrew McCarthy who tallied 18. Damien Hamel, Adam Weiss, and Cole Bergeron all had 15 points each to round out Goffstowns scoring. The team has a match on Monday at Stonebridge and then complete their regular season at Amherst CC on Thursday.
