WINDHAM HIGH SCHOOL: 2
JV Softball defeated Windham on Monday 9-2. The Grizzlies' pitcher, Sophomore Sloane French, pitched a great game, facing 25 batters with 15 strikeouts, 1 walk, and allowing only 3 hits. Goffstown offense was led by Freshman Emily Fournier who went 3-4 including a single, a double, and a grand slam. Freshman Leea Sarvela also hit a homerun in the game, and Freshman Bri Page went 2-3 with a pair of singles. Sophomores Dani Vermette, Kaitlyn Dalton, and Sloane French, and Freshman Justine Watterson all contributed a single to the Grizzly offense. The JV softball teams plays again at home today against Pembroke Academy.
