The Grizzlies earned their 14th win of the season improving their record to 14-0 with a 10-1 win over John Stark HS. The Grizzlies were led on the mound by Clay Campbell who had a great performance to earn his first win of the season throwing 5 innings, allowing 1 run, 2 hits, 1 walk and striking out 7. Carter Chouinard closed the 6th and 7th letting up one hit, walking 2 and striking out 3 to secure the win for the Grizzlies. The game was tight early as some Goffstown base running mistakes had the score at 1-0 John Stark through 3 innings. In the 4th inning, the offense began to string hits together and plated 3 runs in the 4th, 4 runs in the 5th and 3 in the 6th. Tyler Santoro led the Goffstown offense with a 3 for 4 day with a single, 2 doubles, 2 runs scored and 2 RBI's, Robert Doherty also contributed to the offensive attack late in the game going 2 for 2 with 2 singles, a run scored and 3 RBI's. Jeremy Barss, Nick LaBrie, Carter Chouinard and Mitchell Scacchi all reached base twice as well in the game. The Girzzlies will play next on Tuesday, May 24th against Hanover at the Dresden Athletic Fields at 4:00 pm.
