Big win for the Goffstown Boys Varsity Volleyball team as they open their season with a home game triumph by earning the win 3-0 over Bishop Guertin High School. The Grizzles, being led by head coach Melanie Margeson and assistant coach Meagan Farris had many key players that contributed to their success. Strong service runs from Casey Gervais helped the team rally back to take the lead in all three games. Max Chambers recorded 11 kills for the day and Ryan Roggenbuck had 8 kills. Jake Britton-Doucette had a total of 22 assists throughout the match. Goffstowns’ defense was solid with Logan Lemay’s astonishing 17 digs. The Grizzles look ahead in their schedule to face Hollis in an away game on Friday afternoon.
