The Lady Grizzlies hosted the Hanover Marauders on Friday May 27 for their last home game of the regular season. It was senior night for the Grizzlies and with 12 seniors being honored at the start of the game emotions were running high.  In the first half of the game the Marauders were the first to strike; however, the Grizzlies were soon to answer and for the rest of the first half the battle was on, with a score of 6-5 Grizzlies lead at halftime. The second half was much like the first, but the Marauders got the lead at the 15 minute mark and didn't let go. Final score 8-12. It was an entire team effort on the field. Scoring tallys were: Sydney Dubois (6), Maya Harvey (1) and Abbey Bono (1).  The Defense made Hanover work for every point they got, and Goaltender Kersten Daneau was focused, turning away more than 10 shots on goal. The Grizzlies will face the Marauders again on Wednesday June 1st in the Division II playoffs.
