Grizzlies Clinches Lead In Seventh Inning For Victory Over Merrimack Valley.
Grizzlies ran off with the lead late in the game in a 6-2 victory over Merrimack Valley on Wednesday. The game was tied at two with Grizzlies batting in the top of the seventh when Clay Campbell singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. Merrimack Valley fired up the offense in the first inning. In the top of the fifth inning, Grizzlies tied things up at two. Grizzlies scored one run whenCampbell singled. Mitchell Scacchi earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for Grizzlies. He lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out two. Ostrowski took the loss for Merrimack Valley. He lasted six innings, allowing four hits and six runs while striking out one. Taylor French started the game for Grizzlies.
