Cam Bond walked in the eighth inning to force in Kyle Perron with the game's only run in a 1-0 win over Hanover. Tanner Putnam limited Hanover to one hit and struck out 14 in seven innings. Nate Proulx earned the win for pitching one inning of relief for the Grizzlies (3-0). Putnam also lead the offense with two of the team's four hits. Parker Thurston allowed four hits and struck out 7 for Hanover (0-1).
