MANCHESTER CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL: 23
The girls basketball team picked up their first win of the season in their home opener over Manchester Central last night by a score of 75-23. Eight Grizzlies entered the scoring column for Goffstown with senior Ava Winterburn leading the way with a career high 37 points and 11 rebounds. Ava Ruggiero played a great game on both sides of the court and added 11 points and 7 rebounds, and Ava Vaughan and Meredith Winterburn scored 6 points each in the Goffstown victory. The Grizzlies will take on the Blue Devils of Salem High School tomorrow night with a full slate of games in the Den starting at 3:30 with the Freshman girls’ team taking on Merrimack Valley.
It will be ugly sweater night in the Den! Come support the Grizzlies and get festive!!!
