Mr. Martin has been coaching bowling at the high school since its inception in 2009/10, when the NHIAA added the sport.  Now in its ninth season, Goffstown is one of the original schools that started high school bowling in NH.  The high school is excited to offer bowling, as it presents a new and additional opportunity for students, who may not compete in more traditional sports, to represent their school in a positive way.

An avid bowler himself, Mr. Martin has been bowling competitively since he started as a youth  bowler in the Young American Bowling Alliance (now the junior division of the USBC), and now competes in adult sanction league play.  He holds a level II certification through the Ritger Bowling Coaches program and attends bowling clinics throughout the year.  Mr. Martin is also an advocate for the sport encouraging students to bowl and compete in what could easily become a life long pursuit.

In addition to coaching, Mr. Martin is an art teacher at the high school, where he's been teaching ceramics, sculpture and 3-D design for the past 14 years.
