Goffstown was handed its for loss of the season and eliminated from the Division 1 State Tournament after they fell to #4 seeded Bedford 3 to 2 in 8 innings. The Grizzlies fought hard but were unable to get the bats going against some strong pitching on the part of two Bedford juniors. Mitchell Scacchi went the distance for the Grizzlies throwing a terrific game which was enough to earn the win of the offense could have plated a couple more runs. Scacchi went the distance (8 innings on 103 pitches) while allowing 7 hits, walking 1, striking out 4 and allowing 3 runs (2 were earned). This was the Grizzlies and Mitchell Scacchi's first loss of the season.

The Grizzlies usually loud bats were silenced in the game as they were only able to manage 5 hits in the game and walked 6 times. Carter Chouinard went 2 for 4 on the day (double, single, run scored and a stolen base), Nick LaBroe added 3 walks and a run scored and Jeremy Barss, Nolan Guillemette and Tyler Santoro rounded out the hits for the day for the Grizzlies. This was a very good defensive and very well pitched game for both teams as base runners, hits and runs were scarce in the contest which allowed the game to live up to its hype as a semi final game with two top 5 teams. Goffstown finished their season with a 17-1 record (15-0 regular season, 2-1 playoff record).
