Goffstown improved their record to 12-0 on the season after beating the Spartans of Pembroke Academy 9 to 2. Jeremy Barss led the Grizzlies on the mound throwing a complete game while allowing two runs (1 of the 2 runs were earned) scattering 6 hits, walking two batters and striking out 6 to earn the win. Barss went 2 for 4 on the day with 2 singles, 3 RBI's and 2 runs scored, Robert Doherty went 2 for 3 on the day with 2 singles, Tyler Santoro added a stand up triple in the first inning which cleared the bases and Justin Pinard added a deep double to the fence in the 6th inning which plated two Grizzlies to put the game away. The Grizzlies will play next on Thursday, May 19th at 4:00 pm at home against Lebanon HS.
