The Grizzlies won a thriller against Windham 9 to 8 in 8 innings to improve their record to 11-0 on the season. The Grizzlies started the game off right scoring a run in the 1st inning, 2 in the 2nd inning, 1 in the 3rd inning and 3 in the 4th inning to take a 7 to 1 lead through 4 innings. Windham came back strong in the 5th and capitalize don some costly Goffstown errors to plate 7 runs of their own to bring the game to a tie. The Grizzlies added a run in the bottom of the 5th thanks to a leadoff double by Eric LeFave who went on to score on a single by Jeremy Barss. Windham added a run in the top of the 7th to tie the game back at 8 to 8 and extend the game into extra innings. Jeremy Barss led off the 8th with a single and was then put out at 2nd after a fielders choice bunt by Ben Dodge, Dodge then moved to second on a Nolan Guillemette single to have men on 1st and 2nd with 1 out int he inning. Ben Dodge stole third on a 3-2 count to Mitchell Scacchi and an errant throw by the Windham catcher allowed him to advance to home to score the winning run for the Grizzlies.  Carter Chouinard went 3 for 5 for the Grizzlies on the day with 3 singles, a run scored and 2 RBI's, Jeremy Barss added two important singles in the game and Clay Campbell and Eric LeFave added key doubles. Carter Chouinard threw the first 4+ innings for the Grizzlies and Mitchell Scacchi threw the remaining 4 innings earning the win for the Grizzlies. The Grizzlies pick up the action next on Wednesday, May 18th at home against Pembroke Academy.
