The Grizzlies walked away with a victory in their first game of the season defeating the Spartans of Pembroke Academy 10 to 0 in 7 innings on Friday, April 15th at Pembroke Academy. The Grizzlies were led by Mitchell Scacchi who threw a complete game shutout while striking gout 8 Spartans, walking two batters and scattering 5 hits. The Grizzlies were led at the plate by Jeremy Barss who went 3 for 3 (2 doubles, 1 single), 4 RBI's and 2 runs scored. Nick LaBrie and Nolan Guillemette also tallied two hits in the contest (1 double and 1 single each). The Grtizzlies will pick up the action on Monday, April 18th at Lions Field against Merrimack Valley at 4:00 pm.
