The Grizzlies came away with the win in their 9th game of the season, topping the Con Val Cougars 12 to 2 in 5 innings. Riley Putrname earned the win for the Grizzlies going 4 innings while allowing 2 runs on 6 hits, walking 1 and striking out 5. Ethan Smith led Goffstown on offense with a 3 for 3 day at the plate (2 singles, 1 double and a walk) as well as 2 RBI's, 2 runs scored and a stolen base, Just Pinard, Nolan Guillemette, Riley Putnam and Matt Woodward also added 2 hits each to the Grizzlies offensive attack. Goffstown will pick up the action on Wednesday, May 13th at home against St. Thomas Aquinas of Dover.
